Working Women Wednesday: Gabby Bows

While most of us are trying to decide on which college we’ll go to or getting settled into a career after graduation, Gabby Goodwin is making leaps and bounds as an entrepreneur at just 8 years old! With the coaching and creative mastermind of her mother, Rozalynn Goodwin, Gabby Bows are becoming a regular household item for child haircare.

The story of Gabby Bows is truly inspiring!

Gabby is the President and CEO of her blossoming company, and after just 4 years, you can find these adorable products online at gabbybows.com and in Walgreens and Bi-Lo! We can all remember being sent to school with our hair in the cutest hairstyles, but after a few too many turns on the jumprope at recess, we’d return home with a bunch of missing barrettes. Gabby Bows are double faced and have a double snap so that they stay put in all hair types. Such a cute (and practical) idea!

Gabby’s persistence and enthusiasm for the brand brought out impressive entrepreneur skills in her mother Rozalynn, and now she’s using these skills to set her daughter up for a financially independent life.

While still in elementary school, Gabby does inventory, is the main sales person at store Meet and Greets, and she helps her mother with sales taxes and online orders. She also started a GaBBY bullying prevention Play Date and has a calendar full of public speaking events!

We spoke with Rozalynn Goodwin and asked her what her biggest advice was for female entrepreneurs and her answer was simple:

SHE WHO SOLVES PROBLEMS SHALL GET PAID

FAITH + PERSEVERANCE = SUCCESS

We couldn’t agree more!

Gabby Bows solves an age old problem in child haircare, and this mother-daughter duo is making it happen. They’re a prime example that when you put your mind to something you can be unstoppable. We can’t wait to see how far they will go!
