Why We Love bareMinerals (And You Should Too)

I had the joy of attending the  bareMinerals #BYOB event (Bring You Own Makeup Bag) and it was an amazing experience!

Of course at events geared towards beauty bloggers, there is always great networking, a positive environment, and best of all a few free beauty products!

My favorite freebie of the evening was this cream shadow! It goes on so smooth and the color is amazing. It also looks great when used as a liner.

One of the first things I noticed was the bareMinerals Mission. It has so much in common with The PeekABoo PrettyGirl Foundation! They’re all about making women feel beautiful and Hello, have you seen our motto? (Because We All Deserve To Feel Beautiful) I also love how they have shades for everyone. Whether you have ivory or olive skin, Asian, mixed race, or ebony — there is something for every beautiful shade.

If you know one thing, you know that the PABPG team loves our makeup! I have tried BB cream after BB cream from Garnier to Laura Mercier, but the bareMinerals Complexion Rescue is a Godsend! It goes on light and airy like a moose, but it’s also provides great moisture unlike some other BB creams I’ve tried. It’s also very layerable (is that a word?) and you can use it for minimum coverage or full coverage like a foundation.

Another great product is the bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation. It’s my go-to foundation and it has such a natural look.
